Figuring out the best way to go can be a bit daunting. For the uninitiated, off-roading vehicles come in a variety of types, models, and brands. Here’s a quick overview of what’s available right here at the Ranch:

    UTV Off Road Trails

    Onion Creek to Hideout Campground:

Departing right here from the Ranch, this Moab off-road trail winds up Onion Creek through a narrow sandstone canyon with several creek crossings and ascends into a stunning desert valley surrounded by rimrock mesas and the towering La Sal Mountains in the distance. Turn around at the Hideout Campground, rumored to be a favored hideout of famed outlaw Butch Cassidy.

La Sal Mountain Loop to Castle Valley:

Also departing from the Ranch, this ultimate off-roading experience continues past the Hideout to a more remote section of UTV trails. Peer into wild canyons towards the Colorado border before heading up along the shoulder of the La Sal Mountains. Climb up to 8,000 ft. in elevation as you enter Aspen forests affording remarkable views of the Colorado River Valley below. A stop to explore incredibly well-preserved Dinosaur tracks completes the journey as you descend into Castle Valley with the impressive Castleton Tower looming overhead.

    Jeep Off Roading Tours

    Hell’s Revenge:

Possibly the world’s most popular Jeep off roading trail, Hell’s Revenge is a bucket list tour through otherworldly petrified sand dunes. Big views extend along this foreign land towards the towering La Sal Mountains in the distance. The unique rock allows incredible traction and terrain and offers a chance to see how impressive these vehicles really are.

    Dome Plateau:

This Moab Jeep tour begins at the north end of Dewey Bridge and climbs to a viewpoint overlooking Fisher Towers and the rest of the Upper Colorado River Valley. It follows below the line of Entrada Sandstone cliffs that have two noteworthy arches in the first few miles. Returning northward offers views of distant arches in Arches National Park and passes near La Boca Arch. Some interesting sandstone caves may also be visited.

    Custom Half or Full Day:

Looking for an extreme adventure or just want to get off the beaten path? For a completely unique experience allow our guides to customize a half or full day Jeep off-roading adventure that is tailored to your desires.

  • Essentials

Okay, there really is no such thing as an SRRUTV, but guests of Sorrel River Ranch have the ultimate convenience of booking tours and adventures on our Honda Pioneer® UTVs departing right here at the property. We love the reliability, performance and safety of these vehicles, as well as the elegant looking SRR logo and classic white paint job on our UTV fleet apart. Not to mention, they are parked right here at the Ranch, making it easier than ever to go explore.
