Fiery Furnace, Arches National Park

Fiery Furnace is a of labyrinth fins, ribs, towers, boulders, and arches, with hidden arches and spectacular rock formations and is a must-see secret of Arches.

This 2 mile hike is moderate with some crawling and scrambling required, and lasts approximately four hours. During the hottest months of summer, early morning departures to the Fiery Furnace hike provides a cool respite from the desert heat, with much of the trail shaded by towering red rocks.

Due to the maze-like nature of this area, hikers must have a permit or must visit this area as a part of a guided tour. Guests of Sorrel River Ranch can book an exclusive guided tour for $105 per person; minimum of two guests required to go.
