The Spa @ Sorrel River Ranch
After a hard day’s play, a well-deserved massage or body treatment will help soothe your aching body and prepare you for tomorrow’s adventure. Guests comment that with its personal touches, cozy environment, and lovely decor, our spa is one of the most tranquil and beautiful they’ve experienced. Due to the limited capacity of the Spa, advance reservations are recommended in order to guarantee availability.
Horseback Riding
Our two-hour guided group horseback ride departs daily. Traveling through Ida Gulch, you will explore the towering thousand-foot cliffs, buttes & mesas made famous by John Wayne. In order to ensure the highest level of guest care, rides are kept small and fill up quickly. Private rides are also available for advanced riders or anyone seeking a more personalized experience. Advance reservations are required for all horseback rides.

Fitness Room
Our fitness room will help you work off your indulgent meals at the Sorrel River Grill! Equipment includes a treadmill, elliptical trainer, stationary cycle, cardiovascular machine, pulley system, and a free weight system, including dumbbells. For runners and walkers, the main loop around the ranch is .9 miles.
Riverside Pool & Hot Tub
For many guests, relaxing poolside near the Colorado River, soaking up the sun and savoring the astounding surroundings is one of the highlights of their vacation. Our pool and hot tub are open seasonally based on weather, and there is ample shade available for anyone feeling sun-shy.
Tennis Courts
Our two sunken hard courts are a delight for tennis pros and amateurs alike! With the stunning red cliffs, deep blue sky, and lush green fields that surround you, you may find it difficult to keep your eye on the ball!
